Some Lesser Known Facts About Karan Sonawane
Karan Sonawane wanted to become an entertainer since he was a child.

After completing second year of his Hotel Management degree, he dropped out of college to pursue a career in acting. However, he later pursued a bachelor’s degree in English Literature.
In 2012, he joined a theatre group and worked there as an actor for two years.

He worked as a trainee at a hotel named Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, Vashi from December 2012 to February 2013.
In an interview, he revealed that he was once in a romantic relationship that ended in 2015.
In the same year, he created a YouTube channel where he started posting funny videos. Initially, he made videos for the channel alone, but later, his friends also joined him.
After a few years, he worked as an actor, writer, memer, and content creator for a regional YouTube channel named ‘Bhadipa.’
He worked as a salesperson at Puranik Builders Ltd in Mumbai for more than a year (August 2016 – January 2018).
During the COVID-19 lockdown, he started making funny videos on Instagram. Soon, he stared getting numerous views and became popular.

He has collaborated with several YouTubers such as Ashish Chanchlani , Ayush Mehra , Saloni Gaur , and Bhuvan Bam for his videos.
In 2021, he played the role of Khaizu in the Hindi web series ‘The Viral Jodi,’ which was premiered on the YouTube channel Alright!

In the same year, he appeared in the Hindi web series ‘The Office Canteen,’ which streamed on the YouTube channel Be YouNick. He played the role of Pandu in the series.

He has worked in several small jobs such as delivery boy, sales agent, and call center employee. He has also applied for banking jobs several times.
He is an ardent supporter of the IPL cricket team Mumbai Indians.
He is a member of the Orange Juice Gang that include Neel Salekar, Sidhant Sarfare, Saurabh Ghadge, Shravan Kshirsagar, and Shubham Jadhav. Together, they make funny videos for various social media handles.
In January 2021, he was featured along with Neel Salekar and Sidhant Sarfare (members of Orange Juice Gang) on the cover of Social Ketchup magazine.
