Karan Aujla is an Indo-Canadian singer, rapper, and songwriter who rose to popularity for rendering his voice to several Punjabi famous songs such as Chitta Kurta, Kya Baat Aa, Chithiyaan, Mexico, Adhiya, and many more.
Karan’s father, Balwinder Singh Aujla, succumbed to death in a car accident, when Karan was nine years old. His mother, Rajinder Kaur Aujla, passed away in 2011 after fighting cancer for a long time. Consequently, Karan was raised by his sisters and paternal uncle and aunt.

In 2016, when Karan was in the ninth standard, he met the popular Indian singer Jassi Gill
at a wedding ceremony. Karan, who was performing at the wedding ceremony, grabbed the attention of the popular Indian singer Jassi Gill with his lyrics. Impressed by his performance, Jassi asked him to give the lyrics of the song Range, and consequently, Jassi rendered his voice to the song and released it in 2014. In an interview, talking about the experience of writing his first commercial song, Karan said,
I wrote Range when I was in Chandigarh and cruising in a Range-Rover with my best friend Mac Benipal. The words just came to me and I put them together. Then I completed the song sitting in the Park in Canada.”
In 2017, after completing his matriculation in Ludhiana, Karan shifted to Canada and completed high school in Canada.
To fulfil his day-to-day expenses in Canada, Karan used to write songs for various artists and also worked as a part-time docker in Surrey, British Columbia. Later, he was approached by Deep Jandu, a Canadian producer, rapper, and singer, who played a pivotal role in framing his career. Deep advised Karan to shift to Toronto and start voicing a few Punjabi songs.

In an interview, Karan expressed his wish of collaborating with the American rapper 50 Cent and the Canadian rapper Drake.
Karan has two pet dogs, Coco and Boss, and he often shares pictures of his pets on an Instagram page titled, Bo$$ & Coco Aujla.

Karan came into the spotlight with his song Don’t Worry, which was released in 2018 under the music label Rehaan Records on YouTube; the video garnered more than 16 crore views. The song became Karan’s first song to debut on the UK Asian Music Chart Top 40 at number 36.
After the immense success of the song Don’t Worry, Karan realised several popular Punjabi songs like Rim vs Jhanjhar (2018), Na Na Na (2018), No Need (2019), Don’t Look (2019), 2 AM (2019), Chitta Kurta (2019), and Hint(2019).

Karan stood at the second position on YouTube’s list of “Most-Listened Artists in Punjab” in December 2019.
In 2019, Karan was nominated for the category “Best Singer – Punjabi” at the Gaana User’s Choice Icons Awards.
On 26 January 2019, Karan and Palak got engaged in Canada after being in a relationship for a long time.
Karan’s inclination towards writing was derived from his father, who was also fond of writing.

In the same year, Karan rose to prominence for voicing a few popular Punjabi songs such as Red Eyes, Kya Baat Aa, Sheikh, Adhiya, Hukam, Mexico, and Chithiyaan. The song Adhiya ranked 19 on the New Zealand Music Chart Top 40, 2 on the UK Asian Chart Top 40 and on the Official Punjabi Music Chart Top 20. Karan was invited by the DAV College, Chandigarh to perform live at their cultural fest “Karvan” in February 2020. Prior to his performance, Karan was advised by the Chandigarh police to avoid performing on songs that encouraged the use of violence, guns, alcohol, or drugs.
In 2020, Karan won the Best New Age Sensation Award for the Punjabi song “Don’t Look” at the PTC Punjabi Music Awards. He was also nominated for the same song under the Most Popular Song of the Year category.

Karan’s first song from his debut music album Bacthafucup (B.T.F.U), Chu Gon Do?, was released under the music label Times Music and Speed Records on 8 July 2021. The entire music album, which consisted of thirteen songs, was released on 15 September 2021. After the album gained huge popularity, it peaked at number 19 on the Billboard Top Canadian Album and 34 on the New Zealand Albums Chart Top 40.
In 2022, Karan lent his voice to the songs Gangsta and Game Over under the music label Rehaan Records. The same year, Karan collaborated with the famous singer and rapper Badshah

According to some media sources, it was speculated that Palak and Karan’s marriage was solemnized on 3 February 2023. On the contrary, Karan Aujla, through an Instagram story, claimed that his marriage rumours were groundless and said,
