Kamal Sidhu is an Indo-Canadian model, a VJ, a TV presenter and an actor.
She was born in an Indian Sikh family living in Philippines till the age of six. Later, she moved to Canada with her family, where she was raised and educated.
Prior becoming a model, she was an athlete and got trained to compete at the Olympics Games in Atlanta, representing Canada in the heptathlon but unfortunately, she got injured and abruptly gave up to her dreams of becoming an athlete.
She was the first runner-up of the title Miss India–Canada in 1991.
She started her career as a TV presenter with Channel V and later with MTV Asia.She also worked with channel AXN Canada.
She also hosted an adult show on sex lives on Zoom TV & anchored a TV series based on environment issues called EarthPulse on National Geographic Channel.
She presented the Rio Games in August 2016 on Star Sports channel.
