| Controversy | On February 22, 2016, JusReign was forced to remove his turban at an airport in San Francisco an hour before boarding a flight to Toronto. He has a Sikh background, wears a turban for religious reasons. After being told to either remove his turban or book another flight, he agreed to remove his turban in a private room. Despite completing the security check, the TSA (Transport Security Administrations) agents refused to provide him with a mirror so he could reapply his turban in private. The agents asked him to rather walk across the terminal to a public restroom, with his uncovered headâand was asked to use a mirror there. The incident led to a counterblast on Twitter and garnered international headlines in Cosmopolitan India, Seventeen, New York Daily News and BBC Asia. |

According to JusReign interview, his family migrated from Pakistan to India before 1947 Indo-Pak partition.
He was born as Jasmeet Singh Raina into a Sikh family in Brampton.
At the age of 5, his father forcefully put him into Indian Classical Music classes under the tutelage of Ustad Purshotam Singh.
Initially, he used to dislike his music teacher and playing Tabla. He also told in his draw my life video that he even picked up a fight with his teacher for not being obedient. Consequently, he got a tabla thrown at his face by his teacher.
Nonetheless, he later started to develop an interest in music and traveled across countries for the music competitions.
He had a rough phase in his life when he was in high school, he got bullied, got into fights, got detented and much more.
He went to the âUniversity of Guelph,â to study biomedical to fulfill his parentsâ wishes but he could not continue as he was not interested and a year later he switched it to marketing and management.
He started his own clothing and DJing just to make money while he figures what he actually wants to do.
He started with Vine and had nearly a billion loops on Vine, till the times Vine app shut off.
He later tried his hands on comedy sketches on YouTube and no wonder how his humor accumulated him more than 9 million subscribers by March 2018.
JusReign has the largest following on Snapchat in Canada.
He is professionally trained in music and he did his musical venture with Nach Billo in 2014.
He also made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, in the showâs âMean Tweetsâ segment in 2016.
