Juhi Rustagi’s father passed away in 2013 and that’s when Juhi along with her mother and brother moved to Cochin, Kerala.
Juhi was just 17 years old when she started her professional acting journey.
In 2015, Juhi was cast in the Malayalam sitcom TV series titled ‘Uppum Mulakum’ in which she played the character of Lakshmi “Lachu” Lakshmi Balachandran Thambi. The series was telecast on the Flowers TV channel.

Soon after, Juhi Rustagi quit the show ‘Uppum Mulakum’ as she was facing difficulty managing her studies and work commitments together.
In 2019, Juhi Rustagi was cast in the Malayalam comedy film titled ‘Muhammad Album Shathrukkale Katha’ (MASK) in which she played the character of Lover. The film was a spiritual successor of the Malayalam film titled ‘Ithihasa’ (2014).

In 2020, Juhi Rustagi filed a complaint with the Director General of Police of Kerala and Ernakulam City Police Commissioner that her fake videos and photos were being circulated on social media platforms. Rustagi also took to Facebook and said
There are some fake social media post spreading on my name. It’s not me and it’s absolutely fake. People who do such things please have sense. I pity you whoever done that.”
In the same year, Juhi was rumoured to be dating an actor named Rovin. Juhi posted a photo with Rovin on Instagram with a caption stating ‘and suddenly all the love songs were about you.’ However, the post was later deleted by Juhi Rustagi.
