Josh Jones started performing stand-up comedy during his university years.
At age 19, he opened up about his sexual orientation and later it became one of the integral subjects of his stand-up performances.
He started his career as a standup comedian performing in small venues and Working Men’s clubs (British private social clubs).
In 2019, he was one of the finalists of the BBC New Comedy Award, one of the top awards given to a newcomer in comedy in the United Kingdom.
He was the presenter of the television show Fast Food Face-Off (2021) on BBC Three.
He co-hosted two podcasts, Chatting With Cherubs (2022) and Hard Sell (2022).
