Jinaan Hussain is a Pakistani actress and model who is known for playing very challenging and extraordinary roles in the Urdu television industry. She has worked in a number of popular television dramas, but her most talked shows include Bashar Momin, Baba Jani, and Mere Mohsin.
Jinaan Hussain was fond of acting and dancing since childhood and had a very extroverted personality then. She used to actively participate in various functions and competitions held at her school like dancing, acting, painting, or declamation.

At the age of 12, Jinaan Hussain went through depression after her father married another woman. Jinaan, along with her brothers, went through a lot of trauma after having a stepmother.
Seeing her interest in the field of arts, Jinaanâs mother insisted her to pursue her higher studies at the National College of Arts to get more exposure in her field of interest. While studying there, Jinaan actively participated in various theatrical productions and performed in many dramas.
In 2013, Jinaan Hussain moved to Karachi, Pakistan to pursue her professional career in acting. Initially, she started performing in local plays, which also proved to be the turning point in her career. Angeline Malik and many other well-known directors in Pakistan spotted Jinaan during a theatre play in Karachi after which she started receiving calls from various television directors to cast her in their dramas.
Jinaan Hussainâs transition from theater to television happened with her appearance as Noreen in Hum TVâs drama serial âAise Jalay Jiyaâ in 2013. Her performance in the serial grabbed a lot of attention, and thereafter, she appeared in supporting roles in various shows including Mann Ke Moti as Zara, Humnasheen as Alishba, Rangbaaz as Beena, and Hum Tehray Gunahgaar as Neha.
Jinaan Hussain established herself as a lead actress in the Pakistani television industry by portraying the role of a very rude and proud pamper girl whose two engagements have been broken, Tayyaba, in Geo Entertainmentâs drama serial âBashar Mominâ in 2014. After gaining critical acclaim for the role of Tayyaba, Jinaan appeared in her lead role for Shareek-e-Hayat, Parvarish, Mahi Ray, Kaanch Ki Guriya, and many more.
Jinaan Hussain grabbed a lot of attention for her role of Naila in the television series âBaba Janiâ premiered on Geo Entertainment on 8 September 2018.

In 2020, Jinaan delivered one of her best performances in Hum TVâs âRabba Mainu Maaf Kare.â She portrayed the character of Zeenia, a mother of three children whose husband got remarried to another woman. During an interview, Jinaan revealed that she suffered from anxiety attacks while shooting for the show as it reminded her of her childhood when her stepmother used to torture her and her brothers.
