Jimmy, an actor cum model has been part of a lot of films ranging from English to Haitian to French. He has been a producer on a few of the Hollywood films.
His parents decided to move out of Haiti, a conflict-plagued country, to Paris in search of a better life for him and his brother.
During his upbringing in Haiti, he had no inkling of what it would be like to appear on television. It wasn’t until he moved to Paris that he became acquainted with the arts scene. It was during his frequent visits to nightclubs that he was able to witness performances by renowned artists such as George Michael , Madonna , and Prince.
He observed these people with admiration and dreamed of one day becoming like them. This is when he got the idea to pursue a career as an artist. He enrolled in an acting school in Paris, then explored musical theatre in Spain, and tried his hand at modelling in Italy. The journey was a long one, filled with many ups and downs. There were numerous successes and failures along the way, but he persevered.
He never thought of himself as being an actor and focused on working in dancing clubs and musical theatre, eventually becoming a highly sought-after model.
Although he had successful modelling gigs, he often found himself homeless in Paris. This led him to make the decision to move to the United States. After arriving in the US, he continued to model for major commercial brands.
During the 1990s, he travelled to India and participated in a Mumbai fashion show alongside Aishwarya Rai.
Jimmy, even though he achieved great success as a model, decided to try his hand at acting. He started with small roles in films like ‘The Bourne Identity.’ Over the years, he has worked with top Hollywood actors such as Harrison Ford, Jennifer Lawrence , and Bruce Willis .

In the late 1990s, especially at the beginning of his career, he often played the role of villains and delivered one-liners.
He was confident in his ability to handle any challenge. However, the rigid business environment didn’t provide equal opportunities for others to showcase their talents.
He enjoys playing football as much as he enjoys watching it. He is also the owner of a football club named Hollywood United F.C. an amateur soccer club that comprises mainly celebrities and former professionals.

After the devastating magnitude-7 earthquake that hit Haiti, a non-profit organization called Hollywood Unites for Haiti sprang into action. The organization’s goal is to provide sports and cultural education to underprivileged youth on the island. However, following the earthquake, the group quickly shifted its focus to disaster relief efforts, offering crucial aid and support to those affected by the disaster.
