| Controversy | Arrested on an Attempted Murder Charge On 8 April 2025, the Los Angeles Police Department and California Highway Patrol were ordered to search the Eagle Rock neighbourhood of Los Angeles after they were informed about a hit-and-run case in the area. While they were searching for suspects near Scott Shriner's house, Jillian Lauren appeared from the house with a gun in her hand. The officers stated that they yelled at her to put the gun down but she did not listen and pointed the weapon at them. After the warning, the officer shot her shoulder and Jillian ran back into the house. After half an hour, she returned with her babysitter and surrendered to the officers. Thereafter, Jillian was taken to hospital and treated for a non-life threatening gunshot wound and charged with attempted murder. According to sources, she was held on a $1 million bail bond.
