| Controversies | Kiss on Big Brother When Francisco Vale, footballer and digital media influencer, proposed to her in Big Brother Portugal 9, she accepted and both later kissed on the show. Many people didn't like this as teenagers also watch the show. They started sending offensive messages to her and her family. Her family later issued a public apology and requested everyone to not send them such offensive messages.  Violent Action Against Referee During a third division women's football match between Merelinense and Esposende in December 2024, she got angry over a decision and confronted the referee Tânia Patrão. According to the referee, Galhofas pressed her head against the referee's head and said that she was not good to officiate the match. Some Lesser Known Facts About Jessica Galhofas
Jessia Galhofas was born in France and liked playing football since childhood.
She was a rebellious kid while growing up. She used to fight a lot while studying in school.
She later completed a hotel management degree and worked for a few months, but she later pursued a professional football (soccer) career.
She then started playing in the women’s third division in the Portuguese women’s league for AD Esposende.

In 2015, she found out that her father was not her biological father. It affected her so much that she came to Portugal to find her real father. But her relatives didn’t help her.
She then left Portugal and went back to France.
In November 2022, her family moved to a campsite in Costa da Caparica in Portugal. But she stayed back as she was in a relationship at the time.
Her relationship later turned abusive. Her ex-boyfriend once broke into her apartment by slamming the door. She didn’t like it and moved to Portugal and started living with her family.
She continued playing football. In an interview, she claimed that her dream was to play for the Portuguese national team.
She made headlines by appearing in the Big Brother Portugal 9 in 2023, aired on TVI, where she developed feelings for fellow contestant and football player, Francisco Vale.

He later proposed to her, and she accepted. The couple then started living together.

In Portugal, she continued playing football and also started participating in reality TV shows to make money.
She participated in Big Brother: Desafio Final 2 in 2024 and Secret Story: Desafio Final 5 in 2025. Both aired on TVI and TVI Reality.
