In 2010, she received a gold medal for her academic performance. Her teaching career began a year after her graduation when she joined the Institute of Technology and Management in Gurgaon. She joined there as a teaching assistant in August 2011 and worked at this position till May 2013. After this, she commenced her second job in August 2013 at the Poornima University in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

She worked there for over four years in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering and finally left in December 2017. Apart from this, she has also worked as an Engineering and Teaching Assistant at Northcap University.
After marrying Pradeep Lamba, she settled with him in Gurgaon, Haryana.
