Some Lesser Known Facts About Jaya Nair
Jaya Nair is an Indian scientist who has served in the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) as a computer engineer. She is married to S. Unnikrishnan Nair, the head of the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center (VSSC). He was part of the scientific team that played a vital role in the successful moon landing of Chandrayaan-3, India’s third lunar exploration mission in August 2023.
During her time in school, she took part in multiple debate contests and received numerous awards for her achievements.

Jaya G. Nair became a part of the National Center for Software Technology (NCST) in 1988 in the role of an engineer, and she remained with the organization until 1989.
In August 1989, she became a scientist at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, where she engaged in multiple projects.
She moved to Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, after working in ISRO as a scientist for numerous years.
In addition to writing numerous scientific journals, Jaya has authored numerous articles for various Malayali newspapers and magazines.
