She was inclined towards music from a very young age and often used to participate in various singing competitions in her school and college days.
Jannabi started her singing career in 2016 by participating in the singing reality show āRising Starā along with her sister,Ā Chayanksh Das.
In 2017, the duo participated inĀ Indiaās only Outdoor-Live Multi-Talent competition āIndia Banega Manchā under the name āDas Vegas.ā

In the same year, Jannabi andĀ Chayanksh Das participated in season 3 of the singing reality show āThe Stageā but got eliminated after making it to the top 12 of the show.
