| Controversies | • Prohibited to enter Taj Mahal On 26 April 2022, Paramhans Acharya was prohibited to enter the Taj Mahal as they had their Dharmdand and were wearing Bhagwa Vastra. Later, he filed a plea at the Allahabad High Court to seek permission to enter the monument with his Dharmdand and Bhagwa Vastra. Some Lesser Known Facts About Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya
Jagadguru Paramhans Acharya moved to Sindi district in Madhya Pradesh from Bihar.
At the age of 17, he visited Gopal Das Ji Maharaj’s temple in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh for the first time with his family. He decided to stay there permanently.
He began living in a hut on the banks of Saryu. At the time, he chose Nritya Gopal Das as his spiritual mentor.
During his teen years, he took Sanyas.
In 2017, he received initiation from Gurudev Sarveshwar Das Ji of Tapasvi Cantonment and later he was appointed as the chief priest of the Tapasvi Ji Ki Chhawani temple of Ayodhya.
Over the years, he has often been in the news for his pro-Hinduism comments. He has often given killing threats to various people who spoke against Hinduism.
