Before working at CNN, she worked at WHO-TV in Des Moines, WEHT-TV in Evansville, and KCAU-TV in Sioux City as a meteorologist.
Thereafter, she worked at CNN as a meteorologist for more than a decade. She covered extreme weather news such as hurricanes and tornado outbreaks.
