Hemant Pandey is a renowned actor and comedian who was born and raised in Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand.
During his school and college years, he did many street plays and theatre shows.
After completing studies from his birthplace, he moved to New Delhi wherein he joined an NGO called Janmadhyam and Allaripu wherein he started his career of acting with street plays.
He started his career as a TV actor in 1996 and as an actor in 2000.
He is best remembered for his role as âPandey Jiâ in the very popular Hindi TV serial âOffice Officeâ (2000).Â
He worked in the TV serials like âKya Baat Haiâ, âHera Pheriâ, âRashi Villaâ etc.
After the small screen, he started doing sitcom roles in the movies like âMujhe Kucch Kehna Hai â, âRehnaa Hai Terre Dil Meinâ, âAap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lageâ, âFarebâ, âJourney of Bhangoverâ etc.
In 2012, he was the contestant on the comedy reality show âKahani Comedy Circus Kiâ.
He also appeared in the Kumaoni movie âGopi Bhinaâ (2017).
