Hem Batra grew up in Delhi, India.
While he was in college, he began working as an intern at Genpact. Later, he was promoted to the position of senior associate in the firm, where he worked till July 2006.
In August 2006, he founded the real estate company Hans Linkers in South Delhi and began working as a real estate consultant. The company dealt in the sale, purchase, and renting of residential and commercial property, farmhouses and factories in New Delhi & NCR.
On 20 January 2017, he was appointed as a director at Meme Tree Private Limited.
In September 2017, Hem Batra founded the real estate company South Delhi Builder Floors. He worked with the company till June 2024.
In June 2024, he founded the real estate firm South Delhi Farms and Floors in South Delhi.
