Some Lesser Known Facts About Harsha Richhariya
As a child, Harsha Richhariya dreamed of becoming a pilot.
One day, her mother took her to a friend’s party, where she got an opportunity to try anchoring.
Harsha Richhariya began working as a freelance anchor when she was in school.
Her first job was promoting Colgate in supermarkets, earning Rs. 150 per day. After gaining some experience, her income increased to Rs. 300 per day.
Harsha Richhariya kept working and handled the family responsibilities under stress. Even when hospitalized for anxiety, low blood pressure, or weakness, she would leave the hospital if she got a call for work.
When she was 18 years old, she did her first anchoring event near Bhopal for Rs. 250. She learned on the job with no prior experience or knowledge.
Over time, Harsha Richhariya anchored many shows in and around Bhopal. She gained experience and increased her income. She then started working in other states.
In 2007, she started anchoring professionally at various stage shows.
In 2015, Harsha Richhariya gifted a car to her father. She planned to gift her mother a house in March 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic caused financial setbacks and left her plan unfulfilled.
In 2019, she became a makeup artist and also began travel vlogging on YouTube.

In August 2024, she joined a candlelight march to demand justice for a 31-year-old doctor who was raped and killed at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata.
In November 2024, Harsha Richhariya hosted an Indian wedding in Bangkok and Myanmar.
