After completing her formal education, she gradually got interested in the field of acting and started anchoring TV shows and later got into TV serials.
In 2007, Hari was cast in the Telugu romantic drama film titled ‘Aadavari Matalaku Arthale Verule’ in which she played the character of Keerti’s cousin.
In 2011, Hari Teja was cast in the Telugu drama TV series titled ‘Manasu Mamata’ in which she played the character of Jayanthi and the series was telecast on ETV Telugu.
In 2015, she was cast in the Telugu drama TV series titled ‘Thaali Kattu Shubhavela’ which aired on the Star Maa TV channel.
