Controversies • Accused of Sexual Harassment
In April 2024, Revanna and his son Prajwal Revann
a were accused of Sexual harassment by a 47-year-old woman who claimed to have worked as a househelp at the Revanna's house. According to the women, she and her daughter worked for the H. D. Revanna between 2019 and 2022 and were constantly harassed by both Revanna and his son. After the case was filed, H.D. Revanna claimed that all the accusations were false and he and his son were being framed by the opposition. He said,

I know what kind of conspiracy is going on. I am not someone who will get scared and run away. They have released something that is four-five years old." check sources

On 4 May 2024, a Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Karnataka Police arrested him from his father HD Deve Gowda
's residence. The case is related to the abduction of a woman who is the mother of a 20-year-old man named Raju HD. Both Raju HD and his mother worked as house help at Revanna's farmhouse. According to police, Satish Babanna, a relative of Revanna, abducted the woman from her home on 29 April 2024 and held her captive at the farmhouse belonging to MLA's close assistant Rajasekhar in Kalenalli. check sources
