Gungun Upadhyay is an Indian actress, model, and entrepreneur. She is also the first runner-up of Miss Elegant Jodhpur 2019 and Miss Elegant Rajasthan 2019 beauty pageants.
Gungun was born and raised in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. She was fond of acting and dancing since childhood and she used to participate in various school dance competitions and dramas.

The 19 year old model started her pageantry journey in 2019. She participated in Miss Jodhpur 2019. During the pageant she qualified a number of rounds including the talent round where she showcased her acting and dancing skills. Later, she was announced as the Miss Elegant Jodhpur 2019 first runner-up.

In the same year, she got the opportunity to be a part of Miss Elegant Rajasthan 2019. She managed to impress the judges with her presence of mind and other relevant skills, and was crowned as the Miss Elegant Rajasthan 2019 first runner-up.

Apart from acting and dancing, she also has interest in setting up her commercial business for which she uses social media platforms. Her Instagram page named âgungundryfruitsâ sells packaged dry fruits and âgun2coffeeâ sells roasted coffee beans.
Gungun Upadhyay became a part of newheadlines after she allegedly attempted suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of Hotel Lordâs Inn in the Ratanada area of Jodhpur on 29 January 2022. Reportedly, she returned from Udaipur to Jodhpur after doing a modelling project. Before jumping off the terrace, she dialed her father in a traumatic condition and asked him to look at her face when he sees her. Gungunâs father immediately called the police to inform them about the situation but it was too late to stop her from jumping. She suffered fracture in her legs and chest and also had huge blood loss. As per the media reports, she was under serious medical treatment.
The 19-year old model is a fitness enthusiast and practises yoga on regular basis. She often post her gym picture at different social media platforms.
