Goldie Sohel is an Indian musician who is known for singing Hindi and Punjabi songs. On 17 June 2023, he got married to Asees Kaur , who is a renowned playback singer.
The musician belongs to a family of musicians and has loved music since childhood. In an interview, he mentioned that initially, he didn’t have any intentions of pursuing music as a career. However, as he began performing music during his college days, his love for music grew stronger, which eventually led him to decide on a career in the field.
In an interview, Goldie Sohel revealed that he learned music without any formal training. He also revealed that he started playing the guitar when he was in 8th standard, without taking any formal lessons for it.
During his college days, he formed a music band named ‘Sukoon,’ where he worked as a guitarist, vocalist, performer, and songwriter.

Following the establishment of the music band ‘Sukoon,’ he released his debut song titled ‘Door Naa Jaa’ (2013) on his YouTube channel named ‘Goldie Sohel.’
In the year 2015, Goldie Sohel received a nomination for the Best Singer Award at the Rajasthan Film Festival (RFF) for his exceptional performance in the Rajasthani song ‘Maro Badlo.’
His first debut Assamese song ‘Ulahe Abore’ from the Assamese film ‘The Underworld’ (2018) is a collaborative work with the Assamese singers Kaveri Singh, Parineeta Borthakur, and Zubeen Garg.
In 2019, he composed and produced the music for the song ‘Kisi Aur Naal,’ which was sung by Asees Kaur. He later released an acoustic version of the song, sung by himself, and received a huge appreciation from the audience.
In May 2020, Goldie Sohel teamed up with Asees Kaur to sing the song ‘Baat Nahi Karni.’

In the same year, he collaborated with Arjuna Harjai and Geet Sagar to sing the song ‘Neet Ve’ from the film ‘Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare.’
As a music composer, Goldie Sohel worked alongside the renowned singer Vishal Dadlani for the music video ‘Kareeb’ in 2021.
