Some Lesser Known Facts About Gauri Spratt
Gauri Spratt was born into a family of freedom fighters in Bangalore and was brilliant at studies.
Her grandfather, Philip Spratt, came from England to India to participate in the Indian Independence Movement and later settled down in India. He was a founding member of the Communist Party of India, an accused in the Meerut Conspiracy Case and was jailed in 1929.

Her great-maternal grandfather Malayapuram Singaravelu established the first-ever trade union in India in 1918. On 1 May 1923, he organised the first-ever May Day celebration in India.
From October 2005 to December 2010, she worked as a partner at Marmalade.

She worked as a partner, director, and design head at 3’C Tex Pvt Ltd in Indiranagar, Bangalore from 2008 to 2011.
She served as director of Pruha Clothing Private Limited from 2009 to 2011.

She made headlines in 2025 when Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan revealed on his 60th birthday that they had been dating and living together for more than 1 year. They had known each other for 25 years.

During the birthday celebration, Khan joked, “Dekha kuch bhi pata nhai chalne dia mene tum logo ko,” (I didn’t let you guys know about it). He also mentioned that he had introduced her to his family, children, Shah Rukh Khan , and Salman Khan .
She has also worked in the field of image branding and helped Aamir Khan in film production.
She revealed that she wasn’t affected by Aamir Khan’s popularity and that he always made her feel welcome. She also mentioned that she doesn’t watch many films.
She described Khan as romantic and mentioned that he did new things for her every day. However, their 14-year age gap became a topic of discussion among fans.
