Some Lesser Known Facts About Gagan Kang
Gagan belonged to a Punjabi family background.
He initially tried his luck in Bollywood and did a couple of films. But after the failure of both the films, he started doing TV shows, where he succeeded.
He gained fame with his role as Keshri, the father of Hanuman, in Sony TV’s popular show ‘Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman.’
On 19 August 2017, at around 11:15 am, Gagan Kang, his co-actor Arjit Lavania and a crew member were travelling to Umbergaon, Gujarat where the set of Mahakali is located. The car was hit by a trolley on the Mumbai – Ahmedabad Highway. They were rushed to the Manor Hospital, where 3 of them were declared dead.
In the initial investigation, the Police said that Kang was driving the car and was over speeding as per the indications displayed on the car. Police also said that their might be a possibility of ‘drunken driving’ as beer cans were found in the vehicle.
