Falaq Naaz is an Indian actor who mainly works in Hindi-language television serials. She gained recognition for her work in television serials like âSasural Simar Kaâ (2013) and âVish Ya Amrit: Sitaraâ (2018).
Following her birth in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, Falaq moved to Kota, Rajasthan, with her family; however, she moved to Delhi along with her mother and siblings following her parentsâ separation. check sources

While talking about her parentsâ separation, in an interview, Falaq disclosed that her parents had an arranged marriage, and it was her fatherâs second marriage. She further added that despite her fatherâs family initiating the marriage proposal to her mother, they did not like her, and they lied about her father being a divorcee. Subsequently, following a setback in his business, her fatherâs first wife returned to his life. Even though Falaqâs mother, Kehekshan Faisi, tried to keep the marriage intact, her husband decided to abandon Kehekshan and their children to return to his first wife. check sources
Falaq loves dancing. In 2010, she took training under the esteemed Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan . In an interview, Falaq disclosed that while living in Meerut, her mother noticed an advertisement for IFTI, a dance institute where Saroj Khan taught. Despite initial hesitation, Naaz, encouraged by her mother, auditioned and was accepted into the institute, securing the top position. Naaz admires Saroj Khan. It was Saroj Khan who suggested Falaqâs mother to relocate from Meerut to Mumbai so that Falaq and her sister Shafaq could pursue a career in dancing.

After making her acting debut in 2011, Falaq worked in many television serials. From 2013 to 2017, she appeared as âJhanvi Bharadwaj Malhotraâ in the daily soap opera âSasural Simar Ka,â which aired on Colors TV.

She appeared as Chhabili in Colors TVâs supernatural series âVish Ya Amrit: Sitaraâ from 2018 to 2019. Falaq worked in many other daily soap operas including âLaal Ishqâ (2018), âRam Siya Ke Luv Kushâ (2019), and âJai Kanhaiya Lal Kiâ (2021).

Falaq Naaz and Shafaq Naaz got into a public disagreement in 2016 when Shafaq accused their mother of mishandling funds and controlling her career. As a result, Shafaq moved out and started living independently. In 2018, Falaq talked about this in an interview and revealed that due to this conflict, she broke her ties with Shafaq. She further added that when Shafaq estranged herself from the family, she pronounced them as being âdeadâ to her. check sources The Times of India Falaq Naaz, in the interview, said,
Under the influence of someone from our family, she (Shafaq) fought with my mother and left us without thinking about the consequences. Though she never fought with me, I am not able to fathom the fact that she put such serious allegations on our mother. She, being a single mother, has sacrificed a lot for us. I have seen my mother do so much for us and canât leave her like this. I canât see my mom suffer every day and therefore, have broken ties with her. While leaving us, she herself said that we are dead for her.â
Following Sheezan Mohammed Khanâs arrest on 25 December 2022 by Waliv police under IPC Section 306 for abetment to suicide in relation to the Tunisha Sharma case, the Naaz sisters attended a press conference to address allegations made by Tunisha Sharmaâs mother, Vanita Sharma . During the conference, Falaq and her family presented evidence to refute these allegations concerning Tunishaâs death and mentioned that they had a deep bond with Tunisha and considered her a part of their family.
