Faisal Khan hails from a poor family as his father was an auto-rickshaw driver.

In 2012, he won the dance reality show Dance India Dance Liâl Masters 2 and won prize money of Rs. 10 lakh.
His portrayal of the role of Maharana Pratap in the TV serial âBharat Ka Veer Putra â Maharana Pratapâ was appreciated by the critics and the audience alike and also won him two Best child actor (male) awards.
He also won Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Reloaded season 8 in 2015 along with his dancing partner Vaishnavi Patil.Â
