On 30 December 2016, Richard C. Shadyac Jr., president of St. Jude Childrenās Research Hospital, wrote to the Eric Trump Foundation and stated that the foundation had raised $16.3 million in ten years.
On 21 December 2016, Eric Trump announced that he would stop active fundraising for the foundation after 31 December 2016.
According to a Forbes report, the charity funded an intensive-care unit at St. Jude and cancer research.
