Emily Wilkinson grew up in a middle-class family in Omaha, Nebraska, United States.

At a very young age, she began modelling for various projects.
She has modelled for various brands and has also appeared in various magazines like Sports Illustrated and Maxim.
After pursuing her graduation, Emily moved to Los Angeles, where she worked as a patient coordinator at Galanis Plastic Surgery.
Emily Wilkinson and Baker Mayfield were introduced to each other in 2017 by a mutual friend.
Apparently, their friend knew that the two would be a perfect pair and had been trying to set them up. However, it was through a FaceTime call that their mutual friend made to Baker that finally got the two connected. At that time, Baker was the quarterback for the University of Oklahoma.
Although their first conversation lasted only a few seconds on the screen, the two felt an instant connection.
Baker soon enquired her friend about Wilkinson and after getting details about her, Mayfield set out a plan to gain her attention. He repeatedly started following and unfollowing her on Instagram to catch her attention.
Initially, Emily thought that Mayfield was the typical playboy athlete. However, things changed when Mayfield invited her to watch him play in the Rose Bowl.
A day before the Rose Bowl, Wilkinson joined Mayfield for lunch. She expected Mayfield to talk about the game at the lunch. However, to her surprise, Mayfield began asking her questions about her life and future plans.
Within three days, Wilkinson fell for Mayfield and he shifted with her and her brothers in Los Angeles and the two began dating.
After dating Wilkinson for six months, Mayfield proposed to her for marriage.
In 2018, after Mayfield was drafted by the Browns, Emily left her job at Galanis Plastic Surgery and moved with him to Cleveland.
The couple got married in 2019 in a lavish wedding in California.
