Some Lesser Known Facts About Edin Rose
Edin Rose hails from an affluent family in Dubai.
Her father’s family is from Burma and has Tamil roots, while her mother is partly from Karnataka.
Edin dreamed of becoming an actor, as she grew up watching South Indian movies.
As a child, she would drape her mother’s dupatta, apply lipstick, and pose in front of the television, often trying to mimic the actors she saw on screen.
At 20, Edin moved from Dubai, UAE, to Mumbai, India, to pursue a career in acting.
Edin Rose later took acting classes with actor and acting coach Saurabh Sachdeva and started working on her speech and dancing.
In 2022, she appeared as ‘Alina’ in Cineprime’s series ‘Good Girls – Brides Night.’ That same year, she played the role of ‘Aditi’ in a short film titled ‘Help Me.’

Edin once met a friend working in the Telugu film industry, who introduced her to actor and producer Ravi Teja . A week later, she received a call informing her that she had been selected for a special dance number in the film ‘Ravanasura’ (2023) without auditioning.

Edin and her family speak only English, but watching South Indian films helped her gain a strong understanding of all South Indian languages.
Edin Rose usually starts her day around 11 am with breakfast, followed by meetings. She goes through her acting books on days with fewer meetings and re-acts scenes.
In 2024, she earned a certificate in Introduction to Zen Meditation and the Art of Bokken (Katana) for self-practice from Dr. Seema Rao’s Combat Arts Training School.
