 Pa. Ranjith , the director of the film ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ selected Dushara after looking at one of her Twitter posts and that’s when he called her for an audition. The director of the film was initially unconvinced by her audition but eventually selected her for the role.
Dushara had to spend a lot of time in getting trained for the film ‘Sarpatta Parambarai’ and she also ended up learning North Chennai dialect and picked up specific patterns of behaviour to be able to meet the expectations of the role.
In 2022, she was cast in Tamil films including ‘Anbulla Ghilli’ in which she played the role of Anvitha and in the romantic musical drama film titled ‘Natchathiram Nagargiradhu’ in which she played the role of Rene (Tamizh).
