Some Lesser Known Facts About Durga Das Uikey
Before becoming politically active, Durga Das Uikey was a member of the right-wing Hindu nationalist group Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.
He was also a teacher before contesting the 2019 Indian General Elections.
In 2019, he became a member of the Consultative Committee under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs and the Standing Committee on Defence.
