At the age of 16, Sanj started remixing Hindi songs.
He started his career as a DJ in 1982. He used to Dj-ing in Hip Hop and Bhangra styles at the nightclubs of North America.
In the late 90âs, Sanj earned popularity by producing and collaborating several Candanian and UK Bhangra hits.
He has collaborated with a number of UK and Canadian DJ artists like Shabba Ranks, Amrita Hunjan (UK Girl Band Rouge), DJ Tim Deluxe, Sugar Jones, and many more.
Sanj is well known for his work in the songs like âTeray Hussan De Maare'(Master Saleem ), âDarshan Karkeâ (Mankirt Aulakh ), âTere Vangu Nachnaâ (Surjit Khan ), etc.
Some of his super hit notable albums are like the âClub Fusionâ, âPunjabi Clap, âRewindâ, âAmerican Desiâ, âBad Boyzâ, etc.
In 2003, Sanj was a radio presenter on BBC Asian Network.
After working in more than 200 songs and 18 albums, he got an offer from the Bollywood.
In 2009, Sanj worked as a music producer, along with Pritam Chakraborty , in the superhit Bollywood song âTwistâ (remix) from the film âLove Aaj Kalâ.
He has also collaborated with Indiaâs top playback singers like Anu Malik , Gurdas Maan , Sukhwinder Singh , Sonu Nigam , etc.
Sanj has his own music production house- âDJ Sanj Productionâ.
In 2011, he gave a tribute to the famous Punjabi singer âKaran MCâ by releasing the song âAgiya Sawaadâ.
