She had shifted to her fianceâs apartment during the Corona lockdown; the same place where she was found dead on 9 June 2020.
As per some sources, she committed suicide by jumping off the 14th floor from her fianceâs apartment. Whereas some other sources said that it was an accidental death, and she slipped off the 14th floor. Reportedly, just before her death, she had a fight with her fiance and after that, she got too much drunk and slipped off from the 14th floor of her fiance, Rohanâs apartment. Her death was reported at 2:25 am. The senior Inspector of Malvani Police Station, Jagdev Kalapad said in an interview,
There were six friends in all. They were drinking after dinner. Disha Salian, who was also tipsy, walked to the window of the apartment from where she fell down around 1 am on Tuesday.â

Dishaâs parents revealed that they were not happy with Dishaâs relationship with Rohan and had agreed to their marriage only because of Disha.
Later, there were rumours that the Bollywood actor, Sooraj Pancholi murdered her; as she was pregnant with his child. In an interview, he said,
I donât even know Disha. I never met her in my life. I only knew about her after her death, and then later Sushantâs death, that too through social media. Iâd never interacted, donât know what she even looked like.â
On 14 June 2020, a few days after Dishaâs death, the popular Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput committed suicide (as per the information provided by Mumbai Police).
When investigation was started in Sushantâs case, various news channels said that Dishaâs case had some connection with Sushantâs case. Various media sources said that Disha and Sushant did not committed suicide and they were murdered.

In November 2022, her fiance, Rohan Rai, opened up almost two years after Disha Salianâs death and spoke about what went through the tragic night when she allegedly committed suicide. He also spoke about her rumoured pregnancy and equation with actor Sushant Singh Rajput. According to Rohan, Disha âmixedâ her drinks that night, and everything happened so quickly that they couldnât figure out what happened. While narrating the incidents that took place on the fatal night, Rohan said,
We were joined by 4 of our friends and for 2-3 days, we were drinking. Disha had mixed her drinks which she shouldnât have, because that used to have bad effect on her. Her last call was to her school friend in London. Everything happened within five minutes. I took the phone from Disha to talk to her friend, while she went to the master bedroom. A few minutes later, I knocked on the door, but there was no answer. Since the door wasnât locked, I opened it and saw some alcohol spilled over the bed. I assumed that she was changing her clothes in the bathroom and went back. A few minutes later, a friend and I knocked again. On getting no answer, I rushed into the bathroom but she wasnât there. We searched the entire flat and started getting worried. We once again went inside the master bedroom and started checking the wardrobes as well. By this time, all of us were in a state of panic. Thatâs when I noticed that the window in the master bedroom was open. When I looked down from there, I first recognised her pyjamas on the ground. I was zapped and asked my friend, â Kya hai yeh?â I went into denial and started slapping myself. It felt like a bad dream. Then I stood on the parapet thinking that I would also jump. My friends pulled me back. Soon, the police also arrived. They asked me to remove my clothes to examine my body for any fight marks and also searched the house. Some of our friends rushed Disha to the hospital. The first two hospitals denied entry, and the third one that agreed to admit her declared her dead on arrival.â check sources The Times of India
