As a college dropout, he moved to Mumbai in early 1990âs and began working at a medical shop as an assistant.
His career started with a small role the film âMeesa Madhavanâ where he played as a friend of the lead actor. This role bagged him a couple of roles in the Malayalam films.
He then along with his fellow dubbing artist, Jismon, started an advertisement agency. Â He gave his voice to the Malayalam version of Pepsi and Coca-Cola ads which featured Shah Rukh Khan , Aamir Khan , and Amitabh Bachchan .
In the Malayalam film industry/Mollywood, Prabhakar is referred to as the first casting director.
