Diane Leyre is a French model, and radio host, and is known for being the Miss France 2022.
After finishing school, she moved to Paris and started working in real estate before joining beauty pageants.
In 2021, she entered Miss Paris 2021 and won. This allowed her to compete in Miss Île-de-France 2021. In 2022, she crowned the new Miss Paris, Océane Bobèche, and also won the Miss Île-de-France 2021 contest.

Miss France 2022 took place on December 11, 2021, in Caen. Leyre was already considered a strong contestant. She made it to the top fifteen and then the top five, even though she stumbled during her walk in her evening gown. She won the title, becoming the sixteenth woman from ĂŽle-de-France to do so.

She gave up her Miss France title on December 17, 2022, passing it to Miss France 2023, Indira Ampiot.

Leyre is Illana Barry’s cousin, who won Miss Languedoc-Roussillon 2020 and competed in Miss France 2021. She decided to join Miss France after watching her cousin compete and with encouragement from friends.

On June 21, 2022, she couldn’t attend Miss Paris 2022 because she was raising funds for Ukrainian war orphans in Montpellier with Miss Universe Ukraine 2020, Yelizaveta Yastremskaya.
She was supposed to compete in Miss Universe 2022 but withdrew due to a lack of preparation time. Floriane Bascou, the first runner-up, took her place.
When it comes to men, she’s attracted to various body types but values a good sense of humor and a charming smile. In an interview, she said, “I can have an attraction for men who have totally different physiques. To seduce me, you have to make me laugh, it works every time! A man who has a beautiful smile with slightly laughing and charming eyes, he already half has me.”
One of her saddest moments was leaving her two best friends, Miss Midi-Pyrénées and Miss Limousin when she made it to the top 15 in Miss France.

Entering Miss France helped her recover from a tough breakup and boost her self-esteem.
She had a special lipstick she considered lucky, which belonged to her mother and dated back to the year of Sylvie Tellier, a former Miss France. During the final event of Miss France, she forgot the lipstick in her room. She was extremely upset and asked her delegate to bring it back from her hotel room before her final walk.
She’s a big animal lover and had a dog, Ohana, in the past with her ex-boyfriend. After their breakup, their dog stayed with her then-boyfriend. After winning Miss France, she got a new puppy.
