Some Lesser Known Facts About Dhinidhi Desinghu
Dhinidhi Desinghu started training in swimming at the age of six years as her parents thought it would help develop her confidence.
Initially, she was scared of water but slowly developed her interest through regular practice.
During her early training days, she disliked competing which changed when she won third place in a small competition.
In 2019, she participated in state-level competitions, and the same year, she joined Dolphin Aquatics in Bengaluru, training under head coach Nihar Ameen and coach Madhu Kumar BM.
She is the youngest member of the Indian team for the 2024 Paris Olympics in the universality quota with 749 points in the world aquatic rankings (as of 2024).
