Dhanya Balakrishna is an Indian actress who has worked in various Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam films and TV series.
Before making her debut in the film industry, Dhanya used to be part of the theatre group Evam in Chennai.
Her father won the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award in 2021.
In 2012, she played the role of Rashmi in the film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi which was shot in both Tamil and Telugu language. The name of the Telugu adaptation was Love Failure.
In 2014, she appeared as Sanjeevani, the main lead, in the Telugu film Amrutham Chandamamalo.
