He began acting part-time in an English film ‘Bollywood Romeo’ in 2009 as Krishan Ji. The movie was directed by Radhika Vasudeva.
Karthik made his debut in Malayalam film industry in the film Ivide (2015) as Sanjeev Menon.
His father, who has trained none other than A.R. Rahman and sung in more than 50 Malayalam films, trained him in music.
