Dhammika Niroshana made his Under-19 debut for the Sri Lanka cricket team against Singapore in 2000.
He then played many Under-19 Test and ODI cricket matches for 2 years. He captained the Sri Lankan cricket team ten times but the team won only one match during his captaincy.
