Some Lesser Known Facts About Deepika Chikhalia
Deepika Chikhalia was born and brought up in Bombay (Maharashtra).
She is best known for her role as Sita in Ramanand Sagar ‘s Ramayan on Doordarshan.
In 1988, she also appeared in Ramayan’s series, Luv Kush, which was also produced by Ramanand Sagar.
After Ramayan, she became very popular among the television ad makers and did many TV commercials. Her TV commercial of Nirma Super Detergent Soap Cake was very popular on Doordarshan.
She loves painting and in 2018, she gifted a painting made by her to the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi .
In 2019, she appeared in the Bollywood film, Bala in which she played the role of Yami Gautam ‘s mother, Susheela.
She is an ardent follower of Lord Ganesha.
She is an avid dog lover.
