Deepak Thakur hails from a middle-class agricultural family.
He started learning singing at a very young age.
After watching his passion towards singing, his family moved from āAthar Villageā to āMuzaffarpur.ā
Initially, Deepak used to sing at the weddings, jagrans, and small ceremonies.
Music director Sneha Khanwalkar first noticed him and gave him the chance to sing a song āHumni Ke Chhodi Keā for the film āGangs of Wasseypur ā Part 1ā (2012).
He has also sung several other Bollywood songs like āMoora-Morningā (Gangs of Wasseypur ā Part 2; 2012) and āAdhura Mainā (Mukkabaaz; 2018).
He runs his YouTube channel āDEEPAK THAKUR,ā in which he has shared numerous Hindi, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri song videos by singing in his own style.
