Deepak was born into a middle-class Marathi family of Pune, who later settled down in Los Angeles, USA.
Due to his familyâs financial crisis, he left his studies after 10th standard. Later, he did a hotel management course after which he started working as a receptionist in Mumbaiâs three-star hotel.
In 2011, he went to Kashmir for the first time to shot a few videos in Kashmir valley. Later, he became an Internet sensation for his controversial videos on Kashmir valley.
According to him, the solution of Kashmir lies in peace, not gun or violence.
He wants to settle in Kashmir but the âArticle 35Aâ does not allow him to buy property in that state.
In 2018, he made an appearance on Colors TVâs reality show âIndiaâs Got Talentâ (IGT).
The same year, he was approached for âBigg Boss 12â but he refused to be a part of it.
He is often considered as a blend of Dhinchak Pooja and Ssumier Pasricha (Pummy Aunty).
