Some Lesser Known Facts About Dasha
She started participating in musical theatre productions at the age of 5.
While studying at school, she won the national poetry competitions.
At the age of 8, she learned to play the guitar.
At the age of 10, her father PJ worked with her as a talent manager and booked her gigs in coffee shops and wineries.
Her elder brother Bardo, a guitarist, helped her produce music.
After her father gave her a small recording budget, she released her first song at the age of 13.
Some of the musical theatre productions she worked in while studying at San Luis Obispo High School are Guys and Dolls (2016), Footloose (2017), Annie (2018), and Bye Bye Birdie (2018).
In March 2021, she released the extended play $hiny Things under the label Quadio.
In June 2024, her song “Austin” (2023) entered the Billboard charts for the first time and ranked number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song also reached number 2 on Spotify’s Viral Top 50 Charts and New Zealand’s Spotify Daily Chart.
She made her first award show performance at the 2024 Canadian Country Music Awards in September 2024.
