Some Lesser Known Facts About Daniel Caltagirone
Daniel was born in England, but his family traces its roots to Italy.
An ITV talent scout caught Daniel’s talent during his last year at Guildhall School of Music and Drama after which he was cast as a lead in “Ruth Rendell Mysteries” Going Wrong (1998).
Daniel and his wife Melanie Sykes met for the first time in the year 2000 for a radio interview and married each other 12 months later in the Caribbean.
Daniel appeared on the TV show ‘Friends ‘ in which he appeared in the episode “The One with Ross’s Wedding: Part 2 which was filmed in London.

Daniel travelled to 27 countries including India during the shooting of the film The Fall (2006), directed by Tarsem Singh.
Daniel starred in several films and mini-series such as The Beach (2000), Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider – The Cradle of Life (2003), and The Path to 9/11 (2006). He has also worked on various TV shows such as Medici (2016) and Britannia (2017).
In 2010, Daniel produced his debut film. It was a short film which was based on the novel The Hitman Diaries, co-authored by Danny King.
