He was interested in basketball since childhood as his father played basketball in his college.

He and his father watched the videos of Chris Paul, Steve Nash, Kyrie Irving and Steph Curry every weekend. He then practiced it for the entire week.
Once his father downloaded an application to check his projected height, which showed the height of 6 feet 1 inches, but it proved later.
He was 5 feet 8 inches (173 cm) tall in his sophomore year, and in his junior year, he grew to 6 feet 1 inch (185 cm).
As a senior, he had an average of 21 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.
