He started his career as a theatre artist.
Chittaranjan made his film debut as a producer, director, scriptwriter, music director, lyricist and playback singer in 2007 with the Odia film, âDhauli Express.â
In 2009, he directed the film, âMukhyamantri.â
Tripathy has directed several episodes of TV serials like âDhund Legi Manjil Mume,â âYe Isk He,â âJaani Pehchani Si Ajnabi,â âMano Ya Na Mano,â and âSavdhan India.â
He has also composed many songs for his plays.
