Chandrika Gera Dixit grew up in Indore.
She lost her parents when she was too young. Later, she moved to Delhi.
In Delhi, Chandrika worked at Haldiram’s for around four years.
While she was still working at Haldiram’s, her son fell ill with dengue. It was then that she decided to quit her job and start up a food cart along with her husband.
She named her food cart Mumbai Ka Famous Vada Pav. It also goes by the name The Authentic Vada Pav.

Chandrika’s food cart is located outside Keshav Maha Vidhyala, Gate Number 2, Co-operative Group Housing Societies Pitampura, Sainik Vihar, Pitampura, Delhi.
Soon, she started getting huge crowds at her cart with customers waiting for hours to get their orders.
Chandrika came into the spotlight after she had an argument with the Delhi Police and Municipal Corporation members after they allegedly tried to remove her stall from Sanik Vihar, Pitampura. She alleged that she had paid around Rs. 35,000 to the members of the Municipal Corporation to let her run the stall. However, she was still being harassed by them.
Many popular video creators and bloggers like Saurav Soni, Tehelka Bhai, and Puneet Super Star have visited her cart and have promoted her business. Many bloggers have described her as the most beautiful Vada Pav Queen.
Her looks are often compared with Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit by many bloggers.
