Since he was a child, he was always interested in acting. When he used to study in school, he took part in various theatre plays. Thereafter, to follow his passion for acting, he moved to Mumbai after completing his graduation.

In an interview, he recollected that while he was shooting for the TV show Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai in 2017, he told the creative team about a funny incident that occurred in his real life. They liked his story so much that they planned to include a scene based on his story in the show. In the interview, he explained the funny story and said,
When the wedding track started, I was just casually during one of the breaks narrating an incident where during one of the weddings in my friendâs house, one of his uncles was addressed as âSwargiyaâ which wasnât true. My friendâs family started getting calls from their relatives across confirming the news and that uncle was so angry and upset as he had to keep clarifying to everyone about his good health. The creative team found the incident so interesting that they incorporated the same in the story line and introduced a track on it. My reactions in that particular track was so real as I had closely seen those moments in real life.â
He shares a good bond with the actress Sumbul Touqeer Khan as they have worked together in two serials, Imlie and Kavya â Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon.
