Some Lesser Known Facts About Chandni Mimic
Since childhood, she suffered from clinical depression as she was bullied by her classmates and teacher at school. While recalling her childhood trauma in an interview, she said,
I used to beg my parents so that they wonât send me to school. It was hard! I remember, one day, the teachers yelled at me for no reason and did not let me go home for a while. I just couldnât feel my body in that room. They knew about my depression and still, did not allow me to leave. After a while, when I had completely given up, they sent me back home. After that incident, my mother left her job and helped me heal.â
When she was in junior college she simultaneously started working as an assistant at her brotherâs event company.
She ventured into the entertainment industry during her college days after securing a job as a host for the MI Live app.
After appearing in MHT-CET, an annual entrance exam conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, she enrolled in a college affiliated to the University Of Mumbai, where she pursued a five-year-long integrated course in the field of law.
She started uploading humorous mimicry videos on her self-titled YouTube channel in January 2016. She majorly mimicked Indian actresses Alia Bhatt and Kangana Ranaut and Daya Ben, a fictional character from the long-running comedy TV show âTaarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.â
She came into the limelight in April 2022 when her video in which she ordered a pizza in Alia Bhatt âs voice went viral on the internet.
She has hosted interviews of various Indian actors like Vidyut Jammwal , Fatima Sana Shaikh , and Hina Khan , for the Bollywood news & gossip website Instant Bollywood. Other popular personalities which she interviewed include Emraan Hashmi , Arjun Rampal , Jubin Nautiyal , and Priyank Sharma .
Apart from Instant Bollywood, she also presents entertainment and mimicry shows on the broadcasting platform LiveMe India.

In July 2022, she gained immense popularity when she enacted Alia Bhattâs âMy marriageâ sequence from Koffee With Karan Season 7, which went viral on the internet.
Besides being a digital creator, Chandni is also a marketing professional.
She is signed with the creator management agency Hypp, which represents various popular digital creators like Vishnu Kaushal , Govind Kaushal, Sukriti Chaturvedi, and Abhinav Chand.
In addition to clinical depression, she suffers from PCOD.
In an Instagram post, she revealed that she does not drink or smoke.
