Chandan Prabhakar and Kapil Sharma are childhood friends; both attended the same school in Amritsar.
They both made it to the finals of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge Season 3. However, Kapil Sharma emerged as the winner.
Aside from being a stand-up comedian, Chandan is also an actor. He has played minor roles in various Punjabi movies like Power Cut (2011), Disco Singh (2014), Judge Singh LLB (2015), etc.
Interestingly, Chandan was the first choice for the character of Raju (house help/servant) in Kapil Sharma’s Comedy Nights with Kapil. However, because of his busy film schedule, Chandan had to turn down the offer.
In one interview, Chandan revealed that he is a prolific painter as well. He added that he used to exhibit his paintings in different foreign countries but had to give up this hobby owing to his busy schedule.
He also produced a Punjabi comedy show named Laughter Da Master, which aired on ETC Punjabi.
